On Friday evening, September 16, 2022, Brassband Rijnmond will be a guest at the renowned Lingehaven concert in Gorinchem.

The concert of Brassband Rijnmond takes place at a spectacular location, namely on a stage on the harbor head of the historic old harbor of Gorinchem. Brassband Rijnmond had already been able to perform at this great event that was very popular with the public at the time. It promises to be another wonderful concert with a selection of original Dutch brass band works before the intermission. After the break, the program “Shaffy & Brass” will be continued, a musical tribute to one of the Netherlands' most famous chansonniers and life artists of the last century. The well-known Flemish singer Micheline van Hautem and the renowned bass trombonist Jos Jansen will perform the most beautiful songs from the repertoire of Ramses Shaffy, accompanied by Brassband Rijnmond. Brassband Rijnmond is delighted to once again be able to perform with these top artists and is looking forward to a renewed collaboration. The concert is free to the public and, partly due to the beautiful location on the harbor in Gorinchem, it promises to be a very atmospheric and musical evening where there is much to enjoy.
